Code of Conduct
Sonic 2 Online is for everyone. Play fair and be kind so everyone has a good time.
The rules
- Be respectful. No harassment, bullying, threats, or hate based on who someone is.
- Keep it clean. No sexual, graphic or shocking content in chat, usernames or character names.
- No impersonation. Don't pretend to be another player, the team, or SEGA.
- No cheating or griefing. Don't use modified clients, bots or exploits to spoil the game for others, and don't follow other players around to annoy them.
- No spam or advertising. Don't flood chat or post links to other services.
- Keep it private. Never share anyone's personal information, including your own.
- No piracy. Don't ask for, offer or link to ROMs. Everyone brings their own copy of the game.
- Report bugs, don't abuse them. If you find something broken, tell us instead of exploiting it.
If someone breaks the rules
Type /report followed by their name and what they did in chat. Moderators see your report along with the chat from around that time, and can review that player's chat history.
Breaking these rules can get you warned, muted, removed from the game or banned, and a ban can cover the email address and network you used. Serious cases can happen without warning.
